Dorothy and Ean McDowell


Dorothy and Ean took over the Farmers Arms Hotel in 2012 with a vision to breathe fresh life into not just the venue, but Beeac as a whole community.

Dorothy keeps the Hotel running like clockwork and many of you will remember her for her ever-friendly service, kindness and hard work. She will remember you too! She has an amazing ability to remember names. Who would’ve thought Beeac would have a publican of Asian decent and doesn’t drink alcohol? Indeed, a sign of moving times!

Ean keeps the Hotel firmly in line with its roots as a traditional country pub, which is something everyone can enjoy today.

Head Chef

Mostafa joined Farmers Arms in 2020 as Head Chef, bringing with him decades of experience across many fine establishments across Australia, including:

  • Restaurant Balzac, Sydney
  • Rockpool Bar & Grill, Perth
  • Meat Market, Melbourne
  • Prince Alfred Hotel, Melbourne

He continues his passion of creating dishes that continue to delight and tantalise the palate with his effortless ability to bring the best out of every ingredient he uses.

Chef Mostafa’s new menu is influenced by his love of good food.

Breakfast: 8:00am – 10:30am (Weekends only)
Lunch: 11:30 pm – 2:30 pm
